HEALTHY EATING
Dear Parent, Burnwood School will be holding a Healthy Eating Information Event for our students on Friday June 15th from 1.00pm to 3.15 pm. Parents who would like to attend are also welcome.
There will be a number of food kiosks which are dedicated to promoting healthy, nutritious and delicious foods from different countries all over the world. Some of the kiosks (those promoting Indian, Italian and Middle Eastern cuisine) will also be offering free lunches.
An information booklet will be available with chapters split by country showing suggestions for healthier options from different parts of the world and basic recipes on how these dishes can be easily prepared at home.
As you know, the school has been dedicated to promoting healthier eating in our own student dining room for the last two years and we would now like to encourage our students to continue the growing healthy eating trend and ethic while outside of school premises.
We hope very much that you will be able to join us on what we expect to be an enjoyable and informative day for all. The event will be held in the Main Events Hall in D-Block. I have also included some information on additional events which are to be held at the school this coming semester.
Thanking you for your support.
