• enquire about places of interest to visit during your trip
• suggest that you meet during your stay
Dear Steve and Kate,
I am writing to you as Simon suggested I contact you as I will be coming to London next month. I hope that you don’t mind me contacting you but he said that you may be able to give me some useful advice.
First of all, if it is not too much trouble, I wonder if you could recommend any good restaurants. I will be travelling on a fairly tight budget but I am interested to know if you could recommend some good places in a lower price range.
Also, if it is not too inconvenient, I wonder if you could advise me of the best places to visit. I will be staying for four days and would like to see as much as possible.
Do you know if you are free on March 26th? If you are, would you like to meet up, maybe for a coffee or lunch? I have heard so much about you, it would be really nice to get to know you personally.
