There are 9 different types of question used in the IELTS reading test.These are:

  1. Headings
  2. Short answer questions
  3. Sentence completion questions
  4. Summary / notes  / flowchart completion questions
  5. Table completion questions
  6. Labelling style questions
  7. Classifying and matching questions
  8. Multiple choice questions
  9. True / False / Not Given questions
