Question 1 of 2
1. Question
The paragraphs below each have 4 sentences. The sentences are highlighted in 4 different colours. Match each sentence with the correct description in the table below. Drag your answer to the centre of the box to the right (let go when you see a yellow box appear).
A higher proportion of women today are in full time employment compared with previous generations, yet some women still view the workplace as a male dominated world. There is a school of thought that believes it is not possible for a working mother to successfully manage the demands of a full time job and look after a family as the pressure is extremely high. To illustrate, when children are sick, it is not possible for a mother to take care of a child and be at work at the same time. Since men are obviously more committed to their professional life, they should be paid higher salaries than their female counterparts.

Question 2 of 2
2. Question
An increasing number of British children are spending more time in the home rather than playing outside. Children are becoming lazier, watching television and playing games rather than pursuing other activities. It is not unreasonable to argue that parents should encourage their children to be more active, as they are influential in their children’s lives. For instance, such encouragement could take the form of taking part in outdoor sports with the family.
