As you can probably guess from the name, short answer questions require you to find a short answer to the question(s) given. For these question types it is very important to take careful of note of the instructions given. The maximum length of any short answer question is three words and a number, but sometimes you have to find an answer that is only one or two words, just a number or a word and a number. The instructions for the word limit are always in CAPITAL LETTERS and in bold type. This is covered in more detail in the short answer questions lesson later in this course.
