The 5 point checklist

There are five things you need to be aware of when looking at bar charts that can be put together into a 5 point checklist:

The 5 point checklist

  1. What is the chart about?
  2. What is on the vertical axis?
  3. What is on the horizontal axis?
  4. Is a specific time given?
  5. Is there any other information?

The video presentation on the next page will show you how to apply these 5 points to a bar chart.
