Here are some additional tips for this question style. If you are given a list, write the letter on your answer sheet – writing the whole word will not help as it takes longer to write and you have more chance of making a mistake. When answering from options in a list, do not expect to use all of the choices given – there are more options than answers. Tip 3: If you are labelling a map or plan, it often helps to draw the directions given on the illustration itself. For example, if you have this plan and you hear the speaker say go straight through the main entrance, up the corridor and it’s the 3rd on the left, then tracing the directions as you listen can help you keep focused.
