Video: Describing data

Narration:

So we have completed a five point plan and noted some of the striking information. Now we need to plan the paragraphs. For this example, we will divide the essay into two paragraphs, one covering 1985 to 1990 and the second covering 1995 to 2000. Remember, you are required to summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. In this sentence, the words in green show a main feature and the words in blue make relevant comparisons with other countries. Remember that you do not have to write about each individual piece of data, but should give a general overview of the information.
