Video: Steps for matching and classifying

Narration:

Here are the steps for answering this type of question. The first step is to make sure that you know what you are classifying or matching against. For example, people, dates or characteristics. You should then read the statements given in the questions, and the options that you will need to classify or match. You should then identify any keywords or qualifying words, and consider how they may be rephrased. Steps 4 and 5 are the same as with other question types. Now we will practice answering classifying questions as part of a Section 2 listening.
