There are 6 steps you should go through to answer this type of question. The first step is that you should read the statement carefully. You should then identify keywords which will help you locate the relevant area of the passage. When you think you have found the relevant area, you should read the statement again, then read the relevant section of the passage in detail. Finally, you should decide if the statement is supported, contradicted or not fully referenced in the passage.
