Video: Understanding diagrams

Narration:

Like every Task 1, the first stage is to clearly identify what you are looking at. The check list for understanding a diagram is the most simple of all Task 1 check lists as there are only three points you need to consider. First, what is it? Second, how many labels are there? And third, is there any other information? Let’s use this diagram to practise. We can see that it is a North American home. We can also see that there are 8 labels. For point 2, it is important to remember that you should try to include the information from all of the labels in your description. Finally, there is no other information.
